I was actually planning on going to spectate as well... like you I have gotten rid of my "fast" car. I havent left the scene though, I am just waiting for college to end so I can actually have some mula to dump into a car. Then believe me, it's on!

I'm starting to think this is it- a lot of the old regulars have gotten out of cars. On top of that, some people are probably taking advantage of events put on by other local groups, options that weren't there a few years ago. New people sign up for TR every day but I guess they're not replacing the old timers out at the track.
I know I'll be back to the track as soon as I can piece together a cheap turbo setup. And like Ender, after college I'm going big- there'll be a 400ci+ LS-based stroker on a big shot of nitrous in my car and I'll be the guy braking at the 1000' to avoid being banned. I'm just in a transition period at the moment, but I guess a lot of people are out of it for good and nobody is replacing them.
