Paul, that can is easy to cut, just drill the heads off the rivets, take the end cap off, use a band saw to do the cutting ,a smooth flat surface with a straight blade (just make sure to use a fine tooth blade) cut to desired length re-install the cap drill the rivet holes and get some stainless or Alum. rivets and your done

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,
