I must apologize for my frankness, but it makes me say no wonder these engines are always blowing up. No one wants to do it right.

My redneck response is: Weeeelll, if the bitch runs and you are on the track, you wont see below 1800rpms. Shooooot, if she stalls, pop der clutch and keep on truckin'. And heeeelll, she blows, your taking her heart out anyway, so no loss!

My racing knowledge: If you are serious about tracking the car, you need it to be properly tuned, especially if it has a bridgeport. You should install several gauges to monitor all of her vitals. Plus, when you decide to go piston you can still use the gauges that you will need regardless of the power plant.

Which power plant are you planning on?
