Default FS 1988 Civic Hatch. 103k Miles, new stuff. 56k will cease to exist.

SOLD!

Alright, I figured someone out there wants/needs/knows someone that wants a car. For sale is my 1988 Honda Civic. I'll admit, it's rough, ugly, and slow, but it's reliable, gets good gas mileage, and is easy to work on.

I'm asking 950obo. Car is located in Tallahassee, you must pick up.
The car will NOT be parted out by me. Stop asking.

Also, the price is negotiable, but due to TR lowballers, I have to make it a bit more than I'm after.

The Good
103,xxx miles
New brakes all the way around, including master cylinder.
~3k miles on the Falken Ziex ZE512's. 195/60/14s
Newer OEM clutch
Cold Air Intake - i figured for 9 dollars, i might as well.
4-2-1 Header - again, for 25 dollars, how can i refuse..
Interior has been swapped out for the black/grey Si interior.
It has an assortment of OEM honda shift knobs, find the one that fits you!
Aftermarket fog lights - looks kinda gay, but they work amazingly.
Brand new Si dual core radiator. It's shiny, and if you're moving, the temp guage starts to fall!

The Bad
The air doesn't work. It didn't work when i bought it, so I started taking it apart, I've still got everything. I heard the compressor leaked it out over a few months, I never charged it to know.
The temperature controls are broken, the fans work, and all of that, but the knob to adjust temp is broken, the plastic gears finally gave out on me.
There is no radio. I took mine back out, I didn't get one with the car.
Steering has some play in it, might be tie rods, but it's not bad enough to make me want to replace them.
The windshield is scratched. It looks like someone ran sand paper for wiper blades, and scratched it to hell and back. You can still see out of it, but it's interesting when you've got sunlight shining on it.
The car rides like hell. It's rough as can be, you will feel ANY change in the road.

The ugly
The car was rattle canned flat black in my driveway. I missed some spots. I didn't care. That's why it's called the battle toad.
One of the tail lights is chipped. I've got a replacement, but it's not the same style. It's newer than the ones on the car, but it does fit.

The lowdown
Like i said, it's slow, ugly, and rough, but it's still a reliable car. It was my daily driver for the past 7 months, and anyone that knows me will tell you, that's a LONG time for me.. If you're looking for a good commuter, this is it. If you're looking for a car that will go from here to california, i'm not so sure i'd trust it. I never took it on a road trip because the car's so light, and at 80mph, it feels like it's going to come off the road.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the windshield squirters are gone. They were gone when I got the car..
