Yeah man try not to let it get to you... The fact that you are a firefighter/paramedic says a lot about you and your character... You probably help more people in a week than most of us do in a year or longer...
Anyways all I am trying to say is to try not to let it get to you... some people just dont understand the situation...
(and no I am not trying to say that I understand the situation or what happened that night I was home in bed..
