lost vtec and ecu questions!

hey i got a few questions...i lost my vtec when i did the 5speed conversion from auto . vtec doesnt hit anymore...someone said something about a pressure switch? the vtec solinoid (spelling? jaja) seems to be still connected; so whats wrong! also...

after i got the 5speed convert i still have the auto comp in the car not the 5speed ecu. ive tried a few ecus but the auto has four plugs and the 5speed has 3...do i need to change the wire harness?? or is there something i can do with what i have so the 5speed will fit? will this help the vtec problem too?! thanks!
