cut out rust (due to shitty battery acid), cut a piece of steel, hammered it out, and tack'ed it in. may have to remove more rust, the weld doesn't want to stick to it.

i hate flux-cored mig wire plus my fucked up welder! argh! the rest of the day will be trying to make it look good.
