When i got cpr certified I was told that shit like that could go down. Just like if you start cpr you cant stop cpr until you either pass out or someone else takes over. But the emt amongst us not stoppping is another can of worms..I personally didnt see a reason to it to well because that minor of an accident (you coudl hear it and it was rather small as far as accidents go) and the fact that there were police nearby.
