I take it this guy you are talking about is an EMT or Nurse? Yeah it sucks but you CAN be sued if you try and help someone and something goes wrong!

My Aunt is an RN and was Head Nurse at the Kindey Transplant unit at TGH a big time nurse. Well she did CPR on a guy after a car wreck on the way home the guy died.. she got SUED because she did CPR without first taking all the readings (EKG BP) to be SURE he really needed CPR! Like she totes an EKG around in her pocket! the guy wasnt breathing so she immediately started CPR and the dude was already on his way out.

She had a GREAT lawyer who saved her butt she prolly would have got spanked if not for the lawyer she had. The world is SICK! The guy was a Gibsonton carney drunk as ape shit and the common law wife sawa chance to earn more money than she could count. Sick sick sick.

My aunt retired and now volunteers for nursing homes for free. It took her love for nursing away. Sad what kinds of people live in our world today
