The car is light and RWD, and the rear end can be hung out rather easily. Welcome to the 1960's!
If the car isn't rusty, buy the car and join the
SCCA. The car can run in
Spec Miata or
Improved Touring A (ITA). They are not that competitive in ITA, but I personally like racing various types of cars instead of seeing the same cars all over the track (JMHO). Road racing is the most fun you can have with your clothes (or firesuit) on.
