I'd say if it's too loud that your most likely loosing back pressure. If it were my car I'd get a resonated cat, then run 2.25 to the axle flange and it should quiet it down as well as give you a little more "Uhmp" on your low end. Just my .02. I have a one piece greddy header, home made test pipe running to a Apexi WS1 cat back and it's quite as fawk! You actually hear the motor over the exhaust. Just my .02!
