That brings back memories...

When I was in JR High, I was skipping school quite a bit. When the report cards would come in, my parents at the time couldn't figure out right away what ABS was (keep in mind back in 1986, computers where not yet in use at the schools I attended in PR)

So when my parents asked me what ABS stood for my reply was...

"oh that is just a number meaningful to the computers, ABS stands for Automatic Boot System."

they bought it... until the guidance counselor called my parents to school because I had skipped so much I was about to fail & they wanted to know why I had so many excused absences...

Then my father introduced me to his ABS... the Ass Busting System...
