The trans brake is ideal for revving the car in gear at the tree (after staging)...let off of the button and you launch....

Line-loc is mainly for staging a manual trans car and to lock the front brakes for just long enough to get your burnout started.

I personally would use a trans brake with an Auto car and a Line-loc with a manual. I don't know what trans. Frankie has though.
