I agree, I'd much rather have bent pushrods than a busted rocker arm or springs/valves/etc..

Also, I think it would be interesting to find out if the guys running with the 7.4" pushrods are the ones gaining the extra power. I realize its only 5/1000ths of an inch, but it could account for why some people are seeing much different results..
