You see many supras because Florida has many supras but you go out of florida and you won't see much of any. California, Florida, Vegas, and Texas are the big supra states. Also its mostly Tampa, Gainsville and Miami that has the most supras in Florida. Yes, my supra is targa, but my supra is fixed and running now so its worth alot more now
still, there is more supras than ae86 gts twin cam. In 84-87 the ae86 chassis was not the only available corolla people could buy if they wanted a "corolla". There was 6 models in total which where more common over all vs the sporty rwd ae86. the majority fwd hatches, wagons and really crappy sedans. Here in the US there might be about 3 or 4 of those corollas made on that timeframe. Europe has different models and probably japan and Australia.
The supra line (mk3 time frame) has the same chassis. there was only 1 supra. Offered na or turbo, you would get the same vehicle. is like a sr5 and a gts or however you want to see it.
Thats the reason I wanted a ae86.
