Ok guys, I was leaning away from the converter, but after reading up on some info given by the group as a whole, I'm thinking I may give it a shot. I am looking at maybe a Vig3000-3200, str maybe 2.0 (?), a tranny cooler, and then naturally some drag radials. Does that sound like about $1000? Also, I would really like to do this myself with some instruction (I'm trying to learn as I go), but I have a limited amount of tools and no access to a lift. Anyone out there that could help me out with those two problems in the near future?
