im not a rocket scientist and shit but i remmber reading somewhere that the dryer style cone will cause the air to bounce of the walll slowing down velocity. not that that matters to u really u have a it sitting right by the top of the cone filter. Correct me if im wrong but isnt there a metal piece, there which will reduce the surface area for the air to suck thru.

if i where u i would get a smoother pipe which would increase the velocity of the air coming, run a small guaze filter inbetween the connection at the top (where ur filter is) and run it straight to the throttle body.

I would only run this only at the track
