Up for sale is my car. I've spent almost 6 years with it, time to get my 1st new car and take a break from spending all my time in cars for a while.
Basics:
-160,100 miles (I have owned it since 57,405 miles & December 20, 2001. It was stock until about 110,000 miles)
-Super Black exterior over Black/Charcoal Gray.
-5 speed, No ABS.
-Power moonroof.
Modifications:
Exterior-
-OEM front chin spoiler
-Custom black housing headlights
-New OEM corner lenses
-Removed stock spoiler. Car will also come with a spare base model trunk lid, which has no spoiler holes, but it is only spray painted black.
-New OEM front fender liners
-New OEM hood release cable
*Body is basically perfect. There is only 2 or 3 dings on the whole car, each are barely noticable. The paint could use a claybar or good detailing, but when it's clean and/or waxed, it still shines great!
*Has been in no wrecks. Front bumper was repainted for free by a local shop, because they backed into it after doing a clutch job. There was no damage, but i got a free bumper paint job out of it. The car has no accident history, but the pin stripe on the car has clearcoat over it, and the mirror bases and wiper arms are both painted, and normally they are stock flat black/plastic. There is no evidence of any damage.
*Fender lips are rolled.
Interior-
-Garrett Boost gauge and Autometer Oil Pressure gauge, in A-pillar pod
-Leather shift boot
-PLX M-300 wideband o2 sensor, display is in glove box. *Acts as primary o2 sensor as well, analog signal sent to ECU.
-Removed passenger airbag, harness, and computer. Will be included if desired to reinstall. (Airbag still in steering wheel, will not fire w/o power)
-Pioneer DEH-something. Single DIN CD player, plays MP3 discs.
-Sony Xplod speakers up front, new Pioneer speakers in rear.
*Only missing trim piece is the small circular piece around the key cylinder. It's not made anymore, and 99% of 240's I've seen don't have it because the tabs on it aren't well engineered and they fall out alot.
Suspension-

-300zx 26mm front calipers with OE 300zx rotors

-axxis pads up front, oe in rear.
*rear calipers are new as of jan '07.
Wheels/Tires-
-5zigen fn01r-c wheels in hyper black with custom "time attack" red lip.
front - 17x9" +15mm offset
rear - 17x10" +12mm offset
-bfg t/a kdw front tires in 225/45-17
-kuhmo ecsta 711 rear tires in 255/40-17
*Front passenger and rear driver's wheel have some curb rash on outer lip.
Drivetrain-
-stainless steel clutch line, removed damper loop
-fidanza flywheel, 11lbs aluminum
-rps max street clutch, full disc, feels like stock (pedal is a little firmer), rated to 400 tq.
-j30 vlsd with 5 bolt axles
-spl parts polyurethane transmission mount
-jgs tools rubber engine mounts. minimal vibrations, no engine movement.
Engine-
-original KA24DE engine. only things ever opened on it were valve cover for gasket, and oil pan when adding oil return.
-stainless oil feed line, -3an
-silicone oil return line to oil pan, -10an
*compression still perfect, burns very little oil, mostly from older valve stem seals. turbo burns no oil.
*FUNCTIONING A/C AND POWER STEERING!
-Removed EGR, EVAP, and OBD-II systems. Very simplified intake manifold and vacuum routing.
Fuel and Ignition-
-walbro 255lph fuel pump, hardwired with relay mod
-z32 fuel filter
-deatschwerks 600cc injectors
-westco miata battery, relocated to trunk
-new cap and rotor - August 2007
-ngk 7mm plug wires
-ngk bkr6e plugs, gapped to .028" (changed every 10,000 miles or before if needed)
-z32 maf sensor, new pigtail
-enthalpy ecu with adapter harness, basemap runs perfect for cruising, safe for boosting. speed limiter removed, 7000RPM redline. I would recommend contacting Enthalpy or user Epstein for some dyno time and a fine tune - this car probably has 25-40hp attainable just from an hour or two of tuning.
cooling-
-Koyo aluminum radiator

intake-
-3" intake pipe, AEM filter
-2.5" intercooler piping
-hks ssqv version 2 bov (bought august 2007), vented to atmosphere, no stalling problems
-precision front mount intercooler
-silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps everywhere. never blown an IC pipe!
-intake manifold has emissions stripped off and other misc items.
*boost leak tested in july 2007. no leaks at the time.
exhaust-

-tial 35mm waste gate, .9 bar spring (14psi - gauge holds 15, no spikes)

-Garrett t3/to4e turbo, 50 trim, .63 a/r 5 bolt housing, rebuilt april 2007
*full boost by ~3500 rpm, holds until 7000 red line
-jgs 2.5" down pipe
-megan 3" SR style down pipe with flex section
-project Nissan 3" resonated test pipe
-RS*R Ex Mag 3" exhaust. black satin coated, 3" polished tip. looks stock, great sound.
The car runs great, easily daily driven, gas mileage is between 18-25mpg depending on how heavy your foot is. gets even more on longer trips (28-30 possibly).
With a tune this number will go up.
A/C was recharged in July 2007, and blows icy cold.
Other than a few items, the car is awesome. I wish I could keep it and continue to make it even nicer, but times call for change.
I'm letting this go for a steal at
$8500 or best offer right now. I will have better pictures up as soon as I get them. Anyone who knows me, knows I treat the car well. It gets beaten on occasionally (testament to the strength of the engine and faith in the tuning), but most of the time I am driving it normally like a grandma.
