heres what you do. go to radioshack or autozone or wherever and buy a multi-meter that can read ohms, take the speaker wire out of your amp and test it for ohm load. if it says anything lower than 2 you need to re-wire your subs. if it says something else and its the rare option that you have a kicker two channel amp (they only make one) you may have a bad channel on your amp
