I like the idea, but I'm hesitant of doing any serious construction (beyond a weekend or so) since full time school + internship + work + gf = not that much time. Keep in mind the stock location is in the front of the door, almost to the dash. I suppose a 4 inch and tweeter wouldn't take up that much in the kick panels, and if I felt crazy I could even overlap them. I just hate aiming kick panels.
As far as the sub box, I have jumpseats that I'd like to retain (not like they will ever get used, but I dont need more shit cluttering up my house), so I will have to do a false floor and creative amp rack, and probably go with an 8 or slim 10.

These have a cutout diameter of 6 inches, I could mount them in the rear doors, and run them off the 500/1, so I'd only have to worry about an amp rack.
