Gti-R motor all the way. I had a GTi-R motor with full 3inch exhaust, intake, cams, re-tuned ecu, FMIC, with a few more things I cant remember and ran 13.0 @ 115mph on street tires on 17psi. I ran this car for 4 years with this motor and never had a problem.
GTIR motors are good ass motors. I know a guy that only changed the head studs and main studs and put in a set of cams in his GTIR and made over 500hp. He drove this car daily with out a problem for over a year.
