ok.. im not going to read this crap, but YES you can get a ticket for highway infractions in a parking lot because:

a) there is no gate
b) here is a public entrance onto a road

that makes the parking lot NOT private property, but rather a public trroughfair.

trust me, i know. i got hit by this a fe wyrs back.

now.. if there was a gate blocking the entrances off, and you cut the chain, went in and relocked it, then you can onyl get hit for tresspassing.

BUt since you can easily go in and out of the parking lot and into a street, you are on a public road. AND drifting is being classed under racing bc to the cops, its still a competition and is still dangerous.

i know all this bc we sat and shot the shit with the cops for an hour on how to get around all the law crap.
