ok whether eclipses are from japan or if there are jdm eclipses or not, hyundai's have dsm motors in them dont they? and the evo has a reverse dsm motor(or eclipses have a reverse evo engine?)

as far as euro taillights shipped from japan doesnt mean that they have dsms running around japan with these taillights. it just means japan manufactures the taillights. not saying that this is true or not, just saying it isnt 100% valid evidence.

i think i heard that mitsubishi wanted to sell to the american market, which is why they teamed up with chrysler (that might have been stated in different words elsewhere in this post). thats when they designed the talon, eclipse, and laser.

whitefwddsm i have been reading this thread on my lunch break so i havnt exactly clearly read everything you have said, but i don't know if you have said yes or no as to the question "are their jdm dsms?".

the cyclone intake manifold is jdm though, and its one of a kind. it has dual butterflys integrated into it, and its an intake manifold that requires you have the ecu(for a dsm) and/or tuning for it. thats why you can't just throw it onto any dsm without some modifications. i don't think it was only from an evo, but "jdm dsms". i may be wrong on some points, but i believe thats the cyclone story.

so based on these facts, i dont know what to believe. omg im a politician

clliffs-
dsm motor in hyundai
euro taillights shipped from japan dont mean squat
dsms sold in american market first
are there really jdm dsms?
and the cyclone intake was for jdm dsms.
