That's the only option... find another 1.8l SOHC... or go with a 2.0l and have to swap out harness, ecu, and what not to make it work.

These cars are not swap friendly meaning... no hybrid motors or any of them unless you have the money and creativity to due something drastic. These cars are not Honda's.

Easy route would be to find another 1.8l if the one currently on the car went. If your looking for more power... best thing to do would be sell the car and buy a Eclipse/Talon/Laser that has the 2.0l turbo engine.
