Motul makes a great chain cleaner. Brake cleaner, kerosene, diesel fuel......all that isnt good for o-ring chains or x-ring chains. Silkolene synthetic is by far my favorite chain lube!! Get a grunge brush, it comes with some shit that is good and SAFE on chains. This thing is a life saver and much safer to do it with your bike in gear and on the rear stand. Use second or third gear too!
