ITB Issues - Lift me up or beat me down
hey all. any of you who head out to qsl on thursdays will know me as the guy with the black s14 kouki on vs-xx's.
I recently acquired a very nice s13 hatch, and as jason can attest, was very adamant about running an n/a ka with itb's. I have collected, or am in the process of collecting, everything mechanical I need to run the setup.
But today, I hit a wall hard (emotionally speaking). The least expensive ems that will run it using the optical distributor signal is gonna run about $800. Add on to that the rest of the stuff I need to get the car running, and you come to rest at about $1k. Then comes the cost of tuning and whatnot.
My questionto you all is should I keep going and finish this project, or should I give up and finish it later when I can build the motor? Or am I going to get flamed, and be told "n/a sucks, buy a turbo"?
