Turbo charging a non-turbo 4G63 is harder than most think. Here is a list of some things you will need.
Turbo MAS
Turbo inlet pipr
Turbo itself
Turbo oil feed and return lines
Turbo coolant feed and return lines
Lower intercooler pipe
Intercooler
Upper intercooler pipe
BOV and hard pipe to mount it to
Turbo exhaust manifold
O2 housing
Turbo downpipe
450 CC injectors
Turbo ECU
Turbo wiring harnes(Hard to install)
A boost gauge
Knock sensor
The pistons on a NT 4G63 are 9:1 instead of the factory 7.8:1. People have said that these pistons are unreliable to boost on, but they have held 19 psi in my 90 talon. Also the flywheel and clutch are smaller than the turbo models(NT-215mm/Turbo-225mm). The NT tranny has shorter gears than the turbo ones, which kills the fun of doing 150+. Take it from someone who had been there, it is MUCH MUCH easier to save up the money, sell your NT and buy a factory turbo DSM. Good luck.
