Driving northbound on bayshore today I passed an older Ninja on the median with a newer blue/white GSX-R parked nearby, there was an ambulance on scene, and the rider was sitting in the grass talking with a police officer. He seemed to be ok, just a little shaken by whatever had happened to him. I believe the ambulance left the scene shortly afterward, Im guessing the rider was okay enough to drive himself home.
