Default seized caliper piston question

Hey guys got a question for you.I did a rear brake job on a lady co-workers 2002 6 cyclinder mustang.Anyways she had the pistons that you have to use the special tool to compress. So i did the job and they worked great.Anywyas this was done about amonth and a half ago.So she calls me saying she just spent 900$ to replace the caliper and piston on one side of the rear because it seized up a couple of days ago?Could this be due to something i did?I didn't really have any issues when doing it?
