FUNK. you're proving this guy right, and making your buisness look like a joke at the same time. had you acted like a business man you could have: A) made some money off this guy with all the parts that he is trying to buy
B) secured repeat business because you know he'll need other odds and ends to finish his project
C) gained word of mouth advertising + written testamonial from a TR member; probably in a new thread created about the good dealings with JDM Market, despite the rumors of bad products.
BUT you've shown yourself, and the company you either own or probably work for, for what it really is. Was that a smart business move? NO. The smartest thing to do would have been to assure the buyer that what they were buying was going to be what was agreed upon, and close the sale. that is how a company grows and makes money.
This was a free lesson in owning/ running a business or holding a job in sales for that matter.
