Alright, I talked to Tom at RTM and although he did seem a bit annoyed he was willing to work with me. He wont be refunding my money, but he offered to give me a store credit or to help me out on a future purchase. So I've requested new tires front and back and he assured me he would help me out with them and have it be an in and out job.

We spoke about communication, and that's what he thinks was the problem. Which I agree with to a certain extent. Sometimes miss communication can really cause a simple issue to become something way bigger that no one intended.

So in hindsight, although I'm still annoyed that it happened and I worry about it happening to others - Tom does seem like a good guy and maybe this was just a fluke. He apologized and agreed that it was a dangerous issue. Ultimately that's what I wanted, an admission of doing something incorrectly and an apology.
