That is an unbelievably stupid thing to do. What people don't realize is "that'll buff right out" won't be an option if the owner opts for completely new bodywork instead. Combine that cost with the diminished value and the punk will end up with a lien on everything he owns and/or garnished wages until paid off and filing bankruptcy will not help him.
