Weather you adopt the same philosophy or not is your prerogative, we are all different and like doing things differently...
IMO, straight line speed is EZ to do... anyone can do it. And braking duels on the street with inexperienced riders is very dangerous... Thus, I've never had any desire with going on rides where anyone has a problem following a designated leader to pace.
It may not be your idea of a good time... But I been on death rides way before many of you here on much lesser machinery... It's not its all cracked up to be. And you'd be wise to listen to those that heve been there & done that...
It's not hypocritical... its just plain good advice & who else is best fit to give it than those that have been there?
unless im at the track i really dont care to go fast in the straights. i usually cruise about 10-15 over and speed up into the corners. fast rides on the north run are fun here and there, but i dont prefer them.
