put the cobra up against a vette and the vette would kill it. the mustang is not ready to compete with corvette. and no, the vette is not just an f body with a different wrapper. that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. there are car classes, from H stock to A stock and then there is "super stock" the closer you get to "A" or SS the faster the car is. both the mustang and camaro class in "F stock" the vette classes in "SS" so no neither are ready to compete against a vette, and the mustang has yet to over come the f body, so it is even one step further from the vette.

i think the point of this thread was originally that the new stang is lookin like it is gonna take a turn in the wrong direction.
