Eric had it right, other than the STFU part. Just because you dont see the fun in it doesnt mean its stupid or pointless.

Look at this way. A friend an I could be shit talking back and forth about his car is faster and has the more power and who has the ability to drive back at the drag strip. We can pay $15 head down to bradenton and acutally race side by side.

If we wanna talk shit about who can out brake or out corner well.... We can head to sebring, and spend a lot of money, And we will be spending a lot of money cause they arent going to let to yahoos go tear it up their first time out. We are going to have get an instructor, know the rules then get signed off and do some solo stuff.

Sure we can do auto-x, but we would not be racing side by side, its fun, ive done it. But well, you have no idea the rush it is to be side by side with your friend as you are slamming gears chasing the finish line, neck and neck.

Its all fun, ive done a lot of it, it all offers a different thrill.
