I mean generally when i see a race filmed on youtube or streetfire or whatever there's always a vid of either cars racing from a roll for about 15 seconds etc. or 2 cars doing a 1/4 mile. I'd like to think if you want to show off a car's real overall performance(cornering, top speed, acceleration etc...) wouldn't racing on a track yield more substantial results between 2 car enthusiasts who may have a disagreement about which of their cars are better.
Back when I was younger and my dad travelled back and forth to england for work we watched the races they would have where they blocked off the city streets and raced and it seemed like your car could have all the engine mods you can throw money at, if it cornered like shit then the slower guy could beat you around turn and generally get far enough ahead of you to leave you in the dust........Discuss.........
p.s. reason why i mentioned this is because you have people all the time saying "oh my civic/srt4/integra/whatever car beats mustangs and corvettes all the time" or whatever. I'm just wondering who's car can stand up to the test of an ACTUAL race not a 10 pedal mash for a 1/4 of a mile.
