For those are aren't familiar with double clutch transmissions, instead of disengaging the clutch in one gear and then engaging the clutch in the next gear, one clutch releases on the first gear while another clutch is engaging the next gear. It's also called seamless shifting. Most F1 (if not all, now) use double clutch transmissions. the ME Twelve uses a double clutch transmission and gets 200ms shift times with a semi-automatic shifter. Plus, you can't have a double clutch in a manual. If Mitsubishi does it right, the semi-automatic double clutch transmission will be much better and more fun than a manual.

sounds like a lot of fun but a whole boatload of money to upgrade and/or repair
