and wtf dealer offerd you $1500 for you cars? i would have told them to lick my sack. i have yet to have a dealer offer me less then 4k for mine. the mitsu dealer offered me more in trade in then what i got it for. the cars hold value very well, about the same as any honda. at least here in orlando they do, actually many time the gs/rs sells for the same if not more than a gst at the same dealer, because its not modded.
No, it doesn't only fall under what kind of car there's plenty of other reasons... where you live based on your zipcode, age, driving history, and so fourth. Are you licensed as an Insurance Agent for the state of Florida? Do you work at a well known insurance company? I don't think either. As far as you paying $75 a month for that car in Orlando you must be under your parents coverage. I doubt Orlando has cheaper insurance rates then St. Petersburg especially Allstate. You call BS on what I said and think its only about what kind of car? Tell me how I move from one zipcode in St. Petersburg to another in St. Petersburg and our insurance rate goes up $10 a month. My record has been clean for years and no accidents and so fourth. I'll let my wife on here later thats an Insurance Agent for Mercury Ins. and she tell you how it is and what everyday drivers don't know.

The Eclipse's DO NOT hold value that well. I've owned 6 so I know. You can't base it upon what you see them going for at the dealer, there's a reason why they are still there. You couldn't sell a Non-Turbo 2g for 4k when you can find some turbo 2g's (95-96) for 4k. This being private sellers. You should know how dealerships work, they buy the cars for less and markup the price. We've gotten offers from people for 3k but when we had it for $3,500 for a 99 we had to bring it down. Let's see a Toyota dealership said $1,500 so did a Dodge dealership. You can't compare Eclipse value vs Honda value... Honda's have held there value's for years a lot better then the Eclipse. Comparing the two is like comparing a watermelon to a banana.

I'm not here to argue with you but this is all based on experience.
