An insurance company raises rates on car that's probably the least safe and most modified out there these days? Sounds right to me. You guys should have seen the insurance rates for my WRX when it just came out in 2002. By the end of 2003, they had figured out that it wasn't a commuter sedan and that every overprivleged 16yr old had already stuffed one into a ditch. Lets just say that rates went up a little more than the 20% quoted above.
If ou guys are going to quote numbers, you should also be listing the coverage, your age, your model, and your insurer. All of that makes a difference. We'll just assume since we all drive 240's that we all have less than perfect driving records (wreckords?).
