My car was ragged on by its original owner.I bought it off of him on this website. Had the same mods on it (fmic, bov, full exchaust, blah blah blah), that was untill it went under the knife recently.Needless to say I got on it from time to time and never had problem. except for a factory clutch that needed to be replaced but thats just like having to swap out brake pads.
and as far as insurance goes...i pay 140 a month for full coverage, 500 deductable, road side assistance and rental car insurance for everyday my car is at the shop. To me that's pretty cheap. It really depends on whos insuring your car. I'm 21 and i have USAA auto insurance
You are right Fernando, I agree. Your insurance is pretty low but there's a lot of people paying more for their DSM. When the 90 Laser RS (4g63t) was insured before I sold it... it was only $45.00 a month. Insurance... we pay $150 for the SRT-4 and that's full coverage with modification coverage, road side and everything else. That's through Progressive and I'm 22.
But it does not really depend on who's insuring your car, it all falls down to the kind of car, where you live and your driving history. Trust me I know, my wife is an Insurance Agent for Mercury Ins. and she's licensed by the State of Florida.
