gotta agree with Walter on this one. Port shaping alone is dramatically better, and the lower end is stronger than a B series ever was. The stumbling block is the engine management and the relative high price tag compared to B series. The components are still a ways off. Also, the weight of the cars that easily accept these motors is FAR heavier than the EG's of yore, so keep that in mind.
counter points are very true, however I was just talking about the motor, I'm sick of ignorant people hating on them.
obviously the cars are going to be heavier than the eg's of yore, however they are not much heavier than the dc2. I am biased towards road racing and they are proving their worth there.
