like dan said above... i am a little bias since i have been in love with preludes since i was 11 and i have now owned 3 4th gens. i have also owned a 96 teg gsr with light mods and it wasnt near as fast as my automatic jdm h22 swapped 4th gen with bolt ons... my auto prelude beat it in the curves and straights.

it looks like a beefy car but i am getting sick of people saying its SOOO HEAVY.... it really isnt. the usdm 4th gens normally weigh in from 2800-2900 without weight reduction which is only about 150-200 lbs heavier (if that) than a civic or teg.
as for my jdm prelude... the lighter/smaller front and rear bumper supports and the fact i have the option with no sunroof is said to knock damn near another 100lbs off the car. i have yet to weigh my car in though.

not enough power???? i have seen stock h22 ludes put down a 14.9 in the 1/4. hell, my lude ran a 15.0 COMPLETELY stock on bald, weather worn/cracking tires with no traction. show me one civic si that can do that. also dan is right, the chassis of the preludes seems much more rigid and solid than that of a civic or teg. i love how all of my ludes have handled with a simple/cheap shock spring combo.

as for the styling... preludes are one of the most original hondas built. it doesnt really conform. and the interiors (love or hate them, especially of the 4th gens) are really really unique.

overall the car is amazing for what it is and is def worth the little bit of extra money in my opinion.

i havent really had problems selling either of my last 2 ludes except for the fact one was slightly damaged and the other one was broken into the day before i sold it and the hood, gauges, and stereo was all stolen (still sold the next day though)...

my opinion is keep your prelude, get power steering back, keep moding it and have fun being more original then most people. your car is beautiful and very quick. have fun with it and meet me for a photo shoot!
