Marissa called me last night about 9:30 and told me that Lorin was in an accident and at Tampa General. I went up and the hospital had just gotten Lorin to the point where someone could see him, Marissa and Jeremy went back and I talked to the cop that was on scene and he said that an F150 had blown a stop sign and hit Lorin. The guy driving the truck was a rider that had the same thing happen to him a couple of years ago (go figure). Anyway the cop said that Lorin was coherent the whole time and real lucky because he had no gear on. Marissa came out and I went into the trauma room where Lorin was and if you can believe it, he was still the same old Lorin. Cracking jokes with nurses, telling them to slap some bondo and duct tape on his leg and send him home. He said that his left shoulder and left leg were broken and that he did not see the guy until he was literally on top of him. I left the hospital a little after 1am and Lorin was getting prepped for surgery. I have not spoken to Marissa yet this morning because I do not know how long she was actually there with the baby and I wanted to let her get some sleep. I will post again after I talk to her. Keep Lorin in your thoughts, I will post more when I can.
