How did you get the starter to reach the flywheel? Did you remove a section of the bellhousing? As you know adding a 1/4" at the tailshaft will increase the farther you get toward the end of the driveshaft (i.e diff).
1stcobra- If I remember correctly those intake choke those motors. Look for a 99+ cobra intake and have it made into a shortrunner. You'll see good gains.
As far as the differences the intake cams on the 96-98 are better (more duration) but the heads are far superior in the C heads in N/A form. They don't flow as much as the B heads but their velocity is greater which is needed for N/A. -Mark
