The bypass module is a PAC TR-7. Alpine is the only unit that requires it. If you don't want to wait on one, call me between 7am-8am tomorrow and I'll pick one up from the warehouse so you can buy it through the shop (about $30 or so) as I am out of them-we don't sell much Alpine anymore (813)362-5454. Or you can buy it on eBay if not in a hurry for it. If so, you will need to program it to configuration #2 and hook up the wires according to the instructions for #2. Remember, don't hook any wires to the eBrake (common mistake). Pioneers and JVC's are so much simpler as they can just be wired to ground. The simplest are the Jensen, Dual, Savant, Phase Linear units as they don't have to be wired to anything-just enter the hack code through the remote and you go into a secret menu which allows you to permanently bypass video! Also allows you to select "Macrovision"-this allows you to play hacked / bootleg DVD's. DISCLAIMER-NEVER WATCH TV DRIVING AND NEVER BURN COPIES OF DVD'S ILLEGALLY. Now I feel better...
