Default need a quick refresher

i use to know my car stereo shit back in the day, now I cant remember 1/2 of what i knew, plus I havent installed a stereo since my WRX in 03.

Anyway.....

Im putting in my stereo Wed (probably) into my Z after work, I have

AVIC-D3
4 ga amp wiring kit
fosgate 550.2 amp
10" kicker VX 600RMS 1200 peak sub
Zencloser custom 350z stealth box

Wiring everything is not the issue except for when it comes to the amp and sub. the sub is a DVC 2 ohm and the amp is 4 ohm.

1) Now if I wire the sub to a 4 ohm load (series), will it be as loud as wiring it to a 1ohm (parallel)?

2) Can I correctly wire this amp to accept a 1 ohm load? guessing no

3)either way, do i still bridge it at the amp?
