First of all, you will definately need the Hi Lo line level convertor to take the speaker level input from the rear speakers and convert it into a CLEAN low level "RCA" input for the sub amp. I can sell you one of our professional grade DB Link adjustable HiLo convertors (the HLC2) for like $15 (not pushing the shop here, just trying to save another WalMart electronics shopper some money and get a high quality part that the pros use in the mean time-will also save future headaches). I will also print out your wiring chart (I won't charge you anything for it as with any TR member-wether we sell you something or not) to assist you in connecting it to the rear speakers correctly (and finding the Bose amp turn on wire-it is "brown") if you want it. All you will then have to run is the 4 or 8 guage amp power wire and fuse to the battery (not to difficult) and the ground cable. You will be able to use just a short set of RCA's from the rear convertor to the amp (3 or 6 feet is all you will need). This is the same HL convertor we use on installs everyday and I never have any problems with them (they are adjustable also-always make sure you purchase an adjustable one when tapping into a factory system). On these RSX's, you don't even have to remove the head unit, you can just T-Tap the brown remote turn on wire at the Bose amp under the front passenger seat (I'll give you a T-Tap and male connector if you don't have them). You could honestly have this system up and running in an hour if you are familiar with basic connections and panel removals. They really are "DIY" friendly. Also, please don't purchase the amp wire kit from WalMart-their fuse holders are junk and they are like $33 for their best one (which is still only a step above flea market quality IMO). Again, you could buy the pro grade DB Link kit we use while you are here for like $25 or at least stick with Best Buy or Circuit City's best brand. PM me if I can be of anymore help or you need help to get up and running. Matt/MCOR

I wanted to do it on my own, i did my civic on my own and never had any problems, i did it w/ a Alpine headunit and the stock Acura headunit but w/ the new TypeS it has that Bose premium sound bullshit...
I just want to know how i should wire the system, it looks like a pain in the ass.
I'm using a Kicker 12'' CompVR w/ Kicker AMP thats it.
I just want to save money and do it myself.
