nvm did some reasearch its a line output converter. Looks like they sell em even at walmart for like 20bux...

also found this cool post by someone at cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2319804 it seems this person achived what i was planning to do, i'll just use his knowledge and get er done. looks like its all simple and the only wire i need to run is power..
