It's sold.
And, if the guy who bought it is able to recharge it, I'll be shocked. I trickle charged that battery (for two days, in fact), and it was back to 12v. However, it held that charge for less than an hour. By the next day, it was back to 3v. I'm almost certain this battery is toast - it has now fully discharged several times (after repeated attempts at recharging).
Since the date was never punched on the battery, I think he's going to try to get a new one without charge. I hope that works out for him.
