That sucks, I have gotten a few things from people online and have been fortunate enough not to have had this happen. I think names should be named that way if the person was not aware of it everyone gets to see how they handle themselves in correcting it. Once it's sold the seller is not obligated to do anything however people appreciate those who do the right thing (either refund enough money to get it fixed or allow the buyer to back out). If they did know about it then saying the name allows everyone to know that this person does not represent things honestly. A bad trader rating can help, however it's not hard for someone to make up a sob story as to why their rating is bad and they can be trusted on the next deal.
